Sad.
This boy is taunting his schoolmate "You girl or boy? Girl or boy?" As he drives his elbow into his thigh. It hurts, I know it does. We played that game in primary school too.
But what hurts more is what the boy is saying. With his words, he's saying that it's wrong to be a girl. That to give up and admit defeat, to say that it hurts, is to be a girl.
Can you imagine how hurtful that can be? To hear other people think that just because of your gender, you're automatically weak and useless?
I'm not being a feminist. I'm not saying that girls are better than boys because that's crap. We're as good as we want to be, and that's got nothing to do with your fucking gender.
I just think it's extremely sad that even young children know how to be sexist too.
