I don't miss you. I miss your arms warm around me.  That's only because I'm cold, though. It's not because I miss you. I miss your voice, your touch. That's only because I miss the companionship. It's not you. I curse the slow connection when it renders me unable to see you, hear you. That's only because no one likes a lagging Internet - we live in the 21st century. It has nothing to do with you. I curse the fact that you're so far away only because it means that my own personal routine now has a hole in it - it's annoying, that's all. It's not because I miss you. I don't miss you. Not at all. I do though - I miss you, but I don't like admitting it. No, I don't - I don't miss you. I miss you. I don't, I don't. I do. NO. I want you here. I want you gone. I'm losing my mind. Why are you doing this to me? I need you.

You are iron , harsh and unyielding . You are fire , that which burns fierce and fast , that which engulfs everything it touches with a single-mindedness that borders on terrifying , with greedy , barely contained fury . Well , I am water and sand . I flow endlessly , and have no concrete form - I take on the shape of that which traps me , encases me . Water rusts iron , and extinguishes fire . Sand does nothing for iron , and if met with a fire that holds enough heat may be turned into glass - however glass is pretty but fragile , and does little more than to serve as a piece of decoration . Tell me , then . How are fire and iron , and water and sand , to meet ?

So we're back home in Singapore - been unpacking and keeping everything that we brought back from Bangkok. It's been a good haul! I'll seriously miss Bangkok, actually - besides the shopping, there's the food and the people and the culture, and I feel like I'll miss all that. Can't wait to be back, honestly! 241215 Went to the famous Terminal 21 shopping mall - it's a themed mall where the entire mall is sort of like an airport of sorts, and each level of the mall is a different country - for example, the ground floor is Paris and the basement is Rome or the Caribbean. Absolutely loved how moving to each level required you to "depart" and "arrive" in a new destination. I also really liked the way each floor was decorated . This was level 1 - Tokyo! Level 2 - London. Level 3 - Istanbul. Level 4 - San Francisco. Unfortunately, most of the stuff sold in Terminal 21 isn't cheap, and ...

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM BANGKOK! I'd planned to post on Christmas Eve, but was too busy (shopping hmmhmm) to blog. Unfortunately it looks like I'll be tied up today as well, so I'll be saving this post for when I get back to Singapore - it'll likely be a huge combined post for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as well as when we fly home! Hugs and kisses, huns~ Stayed up till TH midnight to wish my friends and got a little bored.

TH 1038 am SG 1138 am Third day in Bangkok - got off to a bad start, unfortunately. I won't go into details, but seriously if you exclude people while on a vacation then what's the point? If that's the case then perhaps it's better to split up and meet back in the hotel at the end of the day. In any case, I fully intend to enjoy what I can for the rest of this trip. TH 308pm SG 408pm On the way back from Chinatown - it's a must-visit every single time we're in Bangkok! The place is so vibrant and bustling and noisy, and it's a wholesale market so the shopping there is pretty good especially if you're looking for trinkets and toys. I also love how the place is influenced by Chinese culture - it's Chinatown after all! Everyone loves taking a picture of the shop signboards that adorn the buildings. Spotted this inside a hotel - it's so beautiful but also very creepy, especially if you think about having to walk along t...

TH 919am SG 1019 am Day two of Bangkok! Woke up earlier than expected because well, our body clocks are still running an hour ahead. Headed down for breakfast after washing up - no one's open just yet which explains why we're currently sitting in a McDonald's. I'm not fond of the idea of travelling just to eat in a fast food restaurant, but ehh my stomach disagrees. I'm hungry dammit. Morning traffic on the way to breakfast. TH 1152 am SG 1252 pm Finally managed to set up our tourist sim cards! They're a fantastic deal if you're here on a short holiday - the card gives you unlimited internet for a week, and it's really useful if your internet usage is as heavy as mine (and my fam's). I swear now it looks like I'm doing a promo for them, but it's just that good. TH 1240 pm SG 140pm Had lunch at Platinum Mall - so spicy (I added more chilli flakes by accident) but soooooo good. I rarely take foodpics, b...

TH 452pm SG 552pm Sawadee from Bangkok, Thailand! Plane flight was shite but that hardly matters now that we're here and on the way to the hotel. I've actually quite missed this place. It's sort of nice to be back in a country where you don't even speak the language. My blog posts for the next few days are going to be from mobile, so quick heads-up that the formatting might be a little fucked. Bear with me! While waiting in the departure hall! It was a beautifully sunny day to fly. The view from the plane - the clouds were especially fluffy today. I'd have taken more, but it was difficult to get a clear shot without the plane's wing in view. TH 530pm SG 630pm The hotel's Christmas tree is nothing but bears - it's so cute it's unBEARable (hee!). The lower branches of the tree are bear-less though, which makes me wonder if any of these furry decorations might have gone on to (ahem) adorn some other ...
