Drama
Gwahaha so I've been swamped with Drama practice, Open House training, Drama practice, homework (not really XP) and did I mention DRAMA PRACTICE??! Okays, maybe its because we've been having nonstop sessions, 10-5 for the whole week. Minus Monday cos Ms Ross had tonsillitis (GRACE!!!!!) and Tuesday cos for whatever reason, we just didn't practice. But add in two Thursday sessions and one Friday session and yup, still swamped. LOL. I'm not complaining too much though (I hope) cos yes I love the DC and the practices and all the sweat, blood and tears we go through, not to mention all the screaming we earned. Sometimes I wonder why I even chose the cca in the first place, then I remember that I was put in through DSA -.- But hey, I'm not kidding when I say that I am truly passionate about our club and our craft. All drama haters better watch out!!
By the way, we have a new drama name : Repertoire Inc. !! XD We loved it the very moment we heard it, kudos to Ashley for coming out with the name. Sheer awesome-ness!! (I came up with one too, WeTheActors, but hey, repertoire wins by a landslide XD)
So our Open House is tomorrow, and we went to clean our set (the one we used for SYF 2009). I nearly cried when I saw the state our set was in. Our boxes had tables stacked on them, they were cobwebby, they were absolutely filthy. Our traffic light had a lightbulb missing for the green light, not to mention that the green cellophane had been torn off. There were dead leaves on our traffic light, and my first thought was, "Oh my ******* gosh, how the **** are we gonna repair all this by tomorrow??! How could our set be treated this way??!" Looks like the rest of the DC shared my sentiments too. We were all heartbroken, but we had to clean it all up as best as we could... But seriously, how can the others treat our set this way?? Would the band people like it if their instruments were damaged? Or the CO people? Or any other cca, come to think of it? I don't think so. I'm not blaming any other cca, but last I heard our set had been put somewhere else by the teachers. Looks like our sets had conveniently been moved out and exposed to the sun, rain and whatever else they might have been exposed to in the open. Really, I am thoroughly pissed off!! How could anyone have allowed this to happen? Do they have any idea how much our sets cost?? I swear, if we find out who let our set be damaged, we will kill the person. Open House is tomorrow, for God's sake! How are we gonna fix our set by tomorrow??
And I had a 'so close, yet so far' incident today. YaQi and I were going to look for Ms Farhana to get the keys to open the AVA room for us to practise, when we ran into Ana who was on her way up to the AVA room too. She told me that she saw my 'Edward' near the GO, which was where we were going too. YaQi and I ran all the way there, but even then I didn't see him... He just wasn't there, I wasn't lucky enough...
