Open House 2009

So we had our Open House last Saturday... I was a student ambassador, whoop-de-do. In truth, it wasn't as boring as I expected :)

We gathered at the canteen at 8.30 am, then went to the staff lounge to dump our bags and get into teams with our partners (I teamed up with Sherry, yaay!). Oh, we had to wear the sashes to show that we were student ambassadors, and we got the seaweed-coloured one -.- 'Edward' got the yellow one... T.T I wanted to get a yellow sash so badly!! (And yes, 'Edward' came back to help out with the Open House-isn't that just so awesome of him?? XD) Oh, he saw me, and he smiled at me!!! Eeek!! XD Yay, I was so hyper at that moment! :)

Then we went back to the canteen and waited for parents to arrive so that we could bring them on a tour of the school and the new facillities. We were to bring them to the science labs, then the dance studio, then the classroom block, then the MPH and finally the ISH. When we got our group and started our tour, I had to project/look cheerful/try not to strangle some parents, all at the same time. XP

I guess projecting was easy enough, since I'm pretty used to it by now. But after the second and third tour? I was so burned-out I just didn't want to do it anymore, hahas! Looking cheerful 24/7 is like a speciality of mine, so that was easy too. Now, it was just a few idiotic parents who were the biggest problem. One guy was my favourite - He was such a classic!! When we brought them to the eco-garden, he asked what the difference was between the eco-garden and an ordinary garden. I did my best to answer, but I guess it wasn't very good... He just smirked and said, "Oh, its okay, I was just asking (for fun)." Sherry and I were so ready to murder him right then and there! Grrr.
But I guess the rest wasn't so bad. One parent from the PSG said that I "have good vocals". Hooray!!! That really lifted my spirits, especially after Mr. Ecogarden. XD And we (Sherry and I) were promoting Drama so much, especially in the ISH. Ms Ross was smiling so much! XD Though we couldn't use our traffic light for display due to the damage caused to it :(

Red.

I always dye my hair red - I started dyeing it two years ago after I completed my internship because I felt that it was time, I was ready, and I haven't dyed it a different colour ever since. Of course, constant dye jobs do nothing for the hair, which is why I allowed mum to nag me into doing a henna job on my hair instead of the usual bright red I ask of the hairstylist. The result is that my hair now looks orangey instead of red, which is what I expected but nevertheless found myself incredibly disappointed with. (The irony is that I never have such complaints about my hair colour whenever my red fades to orange within the first two weeks of the fresh dye.) Tsuki-kun told me that he felt the orange suited me better since the red was too bright, but I can't quite bring myself to agree with him. Break The Mirror. Please.

I don't want to look at myself in the mirror anymore. I don't want to see my reflection, I don't want to see that ugly girl staring back at me. Those pleading eyes. She wants me to do something, anything, just so she doesn't look so ugly. She's fat and ugly. Hideous, both inside and outside. All she wants is to stop thinking. Because every time she does, the knife inches ever closer to her heart. She will never be as perfect as her . She just wants to stop looking. Shut up. Just shut up. Stop comparing. I know I'm ugly. Stop thinking. Leave me alone! She wants to stop seeing all the fat bits, all the wobbly jiggly bits that she aches to just cut off. Just grab a knife and slice them all off and she won't be so FAT . She won't be so UGLY . She just wants to kill herself. Please?
