Full Moon Ramblings That Make No Sense
It's been full moon since last night. Full moon is breathtakingly beautiful, and I kid you not when I say that I could stare at the moon forever. She's so hauntingly beautiful, my mistress.
On a slightly more random note, I chanced upon a webpage describing how Lycan (werewolves to the laymen) and Vampire wars were more modern creations. Apparently, nothing in history or folklore describes any interaction or conflict between the two kinds even though they existed in the same time period.
"An interest has been expressed in Lycan vs. Vampire wars. This is a concept that is very much a modern invention. Historically and Folkloricaly speaking there is no evidence or suggestion of any interaction between Vampires and Werewolves, though they both existed in very much the same time periods. But of course within the modern age, it simply looks cool to pit Lycans against Vampires, and the modern day Werewolf has been dignified and socially refined compared to its historical counterpart. It has been made in a much more intelligent, self-aware creature, with a stronger sense of style, and a much more suave attitude. Well no wonder Vampires are starting to get annoyed, being encroached upon and having their sense of style stolen from them."
Personally I just feel that full moons tend to lead to Lycans not knowing where they stand. Obviously they're of a lower rank as compared to Vampires. *scoffs*

Note: This is written by me, a human (though I'd gladly offer myself up to be a vampire). No vampy hypnosis or persuasion was used as I wrote this, nor was I threatened or blackmailed. I genuinely feel that 1. Lycans and werewolves are not the same (don't ask me to explain this, I just feel that they're different. No explanation needed.) and 2. Vampires are of a higher rank as compared to Lycans. PERSONAL OPINION.
Also, I don't want to hear anything about the Twilight series. Where I come from you've got a choice - Potterheads or Twishits Twihards. Pick a side, no sitting on the fence. It may be stating the obvious to say that I chose Potter over sparkly disgraces to vamps. So I don't actually care if you like Twilight, because I sure as hell don't. I don't give a damn. But if you mention it in front of me that you like Twilight (or comment on this blogpost or anywhere within a 5-mile-radius of my blog), I will cut you, drain your blood for the vamps and feed the rest to the weredogs.
Comprende?
Comprende.
Good.
(I know this post makes no sense. Just take it that I've been overenchanted by the moon. Or put it down to my usual weirdness. Whatever.)
For the record, I'd be a vampire if I could, with the ability to shapeshift into a wolf. It was said, after all, that Dracula himself could shapeshift into a bat or a wolf (which obviously did NOT make him a werewolf -.-"). I'd definitely choose the wolf, they're such beautiful creatures. Inner wolf FTW!
We run as a pack, my brothers and sisters.
But I shall be pack leader, or hunt alone.
