Hell Week(s) - It Starts NOW

So, it's that time of the year trimester again: I swear Hell Week gets longer and longer every time it comes to visit.

On the one hand it feels like this:

I hate how Hell Week is never just a week though - it's always two or three weeks. Circle's mostly decided that we're going to camp out in the study room beside the school library, which is full to bursting with other students who are all mugging for their exams. Then again, our school library is about the size of two classrooms, so this doesn't say much for it being full to bursting.

We don't have exams for this trimester (except for one, but it's an MCQ-based exam so does it really count?) but that's no reason to celebrate - we have six major assignments to hand in by next Thursday, and two other major assignments for submission the week after.

All the study rooms elsewhere are taken - this is the bad thing about Hell Week, that you never find a place to study when you really need it. I have no choice but to stay in school till 9:30pm every night since the school just opposite my house is undergoing construction till night and it's driving me mad.

If there's ever a time to make a deal with the devil, I think it's now. We're all dying, and seriously, we're dead stressed.

At this very moment, I actually think I wouldn't half mind.

I kind of wish that our school had some kind of Hell Week tradition though, I mean check this out. Then again, it's not like we had such a thing in TP.

I'm not quite sure what I'm typing at this point - I'm so tired and stressed, and truth be told I just started this post because I needed a break from work of some sort.

Yeah, pretty much.

Red.

I always dye my hair red - I started dyeing it two years ago after I completed my internship because I felt that it was time, I was ready, and I haven't dyed it a different colour ever since. Of course, constant dye jobs do nothing for the hair, which is why I allowed mum to nag me into doing a henna job on my hair instead of the usual bright red I ask of the hairstylist. The result is that my hair now looks orangey instead of red, which is what I expected but nevertheless found myself incredibly disappointed with. (The irony is that I never have such complaints about my hair colour whenever my red fades to orange within the first two weeks of the fresh dye.) I don't want to look at myself in the mirror anymore. I don't want to see my reflection, I don't want to see that ugly girl staring back at me. Those pleading eyes. She wants me to do something, anything, just so she doesn't look so ugly. She's fat and ugly. Hideous, both inside and outside. All she wants is to stop thinking. Because every time she does, the knife inches ever closer to her heart. She will never be as perfect as her . She just wants to stop looking. Shut up. Just shut up. Stop comparing. I know I'm ugly. Stop thinking. Leave me alone! She wants to stop seeing all the fat bits, all the wobbly jiggly bits that she aches to just cut off. Just grab a knife and slice them all off and she won't be so FAT .
