17 February 2012, 6PM.

It's slightly scary to think that school ends next Friday at 6pm. I'll no longer be a CMM freshie. There'll be a major break, then it'll be back to school as a second-year student, a junior.

It boggles my mind.

My friends and I will probably be split up (we'll be sorted into new classes according to our electives, so I hear) and I guess that the only times we'll be able to meet up will be if and when we drag one another out for lunch or something. I'm gonna miss my classmates a lot, to tell the truth. I'm not close to them, but I will genuinely miss 1C03. We've had some good times.

In all truth, it's been a good year. I have really fond memories of this year (all involving school, of course): from running in heels and full formal wear from the 2nd floor to 4th floor to 6th floor to 2nd floor all over again, to choking down cup noodles while rushing articles and reports at 4pm (all due at 5pm), to skipping a lecture just to clean up a report, print it and rush to toss it into the dropbox by 5pm, to going to the school's library as early as 9am when class only started at 3pm so I could do assignments, to cursing the long line of students at the campus printshop, to printing, freaking out over the fact that you forgot to add this or that to the article/report/ and then realising that you'd finished all your printing paper and then having to run all the way to the bookshop and back again, triumphantly clutching your $1 stack of paper. Or even going all the way to the library's printshop to photocopy notes and then realising that you'd forgotten to bring your wallet, and there was no reception at level 1 of the library. Commence full freakout mode.

Yep, it's been a crazy, fucked-up year. But I really did enjoy it, to tell the truth. And I'll be looking forward to the insanity that is year 2 of poly life.

However, I'll need to survive one more week of insanity first.
