Over

We did it. It's over.

As of 6pm today, we celebrated being first-year graduates, having survived our first year in Temasek Polytechnic's Diploma in Communications and Media Management (CMM). We've said goodbye to our lecturers and tutors, and we won't be seeing them till next year (which is sometime mid-April). We've said goodbye to our current classmates, knowing that we'll all be separated next year and that we probably won't have the time to see one another unless there are lectures for core subjects that we'll have to take.

Today's highlights were the Percomm presentation (2-4pm) and the MMP test that we had to take (5-6pm). And, of course, the ever elusive taste of the freedom that would be given to us should we be able to survive till 6pm.

I don't know what to think about the presentation. Our group worked extremely hard on the report, and made sure that the report was as watertight as it could be. When it came to preparing our presentation, we met up as often as we could and practised our lines, we made our slides as awesome as they could possibly be, and we convinced ourselves that we would be all right.

And all right we were. The slides ran relatively smoothly, and all of us could be well-heard, and my groupmates presented their points well. The only problem was that I was trembling like mad. I don't know, maybe it was mostly because I was freezing (I really was), but my nervousness had a big part to play, in my opinion. Anyway, I wasn't proud of my performance at all, even though my groupmates told me that I was fine.

:/

And then there was the MMP paper. I won't say much, only that I'm pretty sure I screwed it up. But whatever, I really did my best. Sigh.

The awesomeness started at 6pm, because that was when:
1. I realised that I was no longer banned from Twitter. AWESOMESAUCE! :D
2. Joceline, Juliana and I went to eat dinner together to celebrate the end of the assignments + paper, and also just to chill. We ended up talking about random stuff for two hours! Good stuff!

After that we went walking around Tampines Mall, and well, I bought this black wraparound wristband, while Jo bought the same thing and a hair accessory as well :)

There's really nothing much that I can say, just that the best part of today was when three girls headed to Tampines Mall to celebrate the starting of the major holidays.

Heh. :)
