R.I.P. Whitney Houston / Valentine's Day
I'm sure that pretty much everybody has heard of Whitney Houston's untimely passing. She was 48 at the time.....
I don't know much about her, and I've never been a huge fan of her music, but I definitely appreciate her songs. After all, who isn't familiar with her songs like "I Will Always Love You" and "I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)"? I can't say much, because it's not as though I knew her personally, and I definitely can't say that her music changed my life, because it didn't. But I grew up with some of her songs, and even if she wasn't a celebrity, I would still be upset because every death is upsetting. That's all I'm gonna say.
On a slightly more cheerful note, Happy Valentine's Day to everybody! If you have someone special to celebrate it with, good for you! Make each day like it's Valentine's Day yeah (no matter how cheesy that sounds). For those of you single ladies (and gentlemen) out there, you're not alone! I will join you and celebrate being foreveralone hahaha!!! If you're a single lady (like I am), spend the night in with a good movie or book, and indulge in some ice-cream or whatever favourite food of yours, or maybe go out with your girlfriends or have an awesome single-ladies-only party at somebody's house!
For me, I'll be spending Valentine's Day alone at home, with my MMP notes and maybe some ice-cream. Good stuff! :)
Some of you might think that I'm really insensitive, blogging about Whitney Houston's death and Valentine's Day in the same post, but I think that it's pretty okay, you know? I mean, we all feel upset over the tragedy but with every bad thing that happens, you have to think of something good too, to balance yourself out.
