It's A Wrap!
Filming today was a blast. Like, seriously. We did the last few scenes for Chapter 15, as well as character flashbacks. And well, what can I say? I'm tired as fuck, and I hurt all over plus I have bruises on my arm and foot, but it was so worth it. Everything was so worth it.
For the scene in which the main character (Daniel) meets me (Jane) for the first time, I was supposed to be on the floor of an empty room, alternating between crying and laughing my head off, exactly how someone insane would act. Also, I had a knife, which I was supposed to pick up while staggering towards Daniel. Sounds easy, no?
Dead frickin' wrong. First off, the position that I was in meant that both my knees were twisted sideways, which is fine for 15 seconds or so but then starts getting increasingly painful afterwards. Believe me, the pain was so bad that I couldn't stand up, and when I managed to stand I couldn't stand straight because the pain in my knees was so unbearable. Plus, we had to keep redoing takes due to audio problems (the boom mic was very sensitive) and us forgetting our lines sometimes, so I had to keep getting up and sinking back down to the ground in the same position. As a result, when I got up to stagger after Daniel, knife in hand, everyone thought I was totally in character as Jane when the truth was that I was simply in so much pain that I couldn't stand or walk properly, and all I could do was attempt to drag my feet forward in stiff, halting movements. Well, if they thought I was in character, I'm not complaining! :D
(I dare you guys, though, to try staying that position I was in for 1 minute before attempting to stand up. You'll know exactly how painful it was, and I was in that position for a MUCH longer time.)
I also had to attempt to stab Daniel, who obviously had to dodge me (I didn't really wanna have to injure anyone, you know!), and the only way to do it was to grab me and throw me against the railings in the corridor. I was cool with him doing that since we needed it to be as real as possible, but when I got slammed against the railing... Damn, that hurt. Plus the point of impact never changed - I kept hitting the railing in the same damn spot. So, I now have a quickly-developing bruise on my arm, and I hurt all over. But as I said, totally worth it. I'm of the opinion that if you wanna act, you've got to be prepared to give 120% of everything you've got, as well as be prepared to get injured sometimes if your partner gets a bit carried away while acting. Hell, that's cool with me, as long as the take is fine! It's what's most important after all.
While acting, we attracted a crowd (several, actually) of people who just stood, and pointed, and gawped, and took pictures, and waved to us and all. Which was really cool to me, because I'd never experienced something like that before. It made sense though - how many people have seen a girl who's bloodied up and wearing a tattered dress, acting completely insane, as well as holding a swiss army knife and attempting to murder a man who's obviously terrified of the deranged girl? I'd prolly stare too, if I were them. But they were cool, taking pictures and all. It was easy to ignore them. I feel slightly bad that I scared a little boy though, but that was only because the whole family was standing in the area that we needed to use for filming. Plus, after scaring the bejeezus out of the boy, I'd told the mother that hey, we were only filming. I couldn't be blamed for having a large bullet wound in my head, after all.
We also had character flashbacks where we showed how each character died. For me, I died from receiving a gunshot to the head, which was pretty fun to act out.
I'm tired to the point that I'm not making sense anymore, so I'll just upload the pictures and let them do the talking. I've got videos too, but I don't think I'll put those up. Those will be used for days when I miss PedoProductions (inside joke) and need some cheering up. <3 p="p">

Theatrical blood that was used. You can even ingest it if you really need to - it's mint flavoured.
I WANT.
Well, Zac (Joseph) is obviously enjoying the attention lavished upon him during makeup...
Shirleen, Evelyn and Brianna helping Zac to touch up on his tattoo.
Shirleen personally tending to Zac's tattoo. She kept scolding him for moving hehe.
Character flashback: Sebastian's death scene (he fell down a flight of stairs).
Le tattoo (and redundant phone).
And now... The post-production photos!
The guys planking, Hafiz on his back cos planking on your stomach is too mainstream.
Evelyn happily deciding that raping the guys would be a good idea.
BJ staking claim on his custard bun.
"Honey, nobody eats my custard buns but ME. Got that?"
Hafiz trying to fix the dashboard thingy in the hotel room.
OOOOOIII Hafiz, why'd you break it?
And with that, we ended production today, and I'd told the others that if they ever needed me for whatever filming thingy or whatever, just if they needed anyone to act for them, they could give me a call anytime. So, even if I can't stay in the drama club, there might be other acting opportunities that might keep me sane for a little while longer. I was so flattered and slightly embarrassed - the cast and crew kept telling me that I was such a good actor, that I could slip in and out of character so easily. I was flattered but still, I felt that I'm not that good an actor and they're prolly just saying nice things ^^ It was really nice though!
I'd like to end this post with a line that I've always wanted to say.
"It's a wrap!"
